Fire Department News: The Franklinton Fire Department holds its regular business meeting the second Tuesday night of every month at 7:00 PM. Board of Directors meet the Thursday night before the second Tuesday of every month at 8:00 PM. Firefighter I & II certification classes are held almost every Wednesday night starting at 7:00 PM. Other area fire departments are welcome to attend. Regular fire department training meetings are held every fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM.
